ABOUT CCOAC
The Chesterfield County Opioid Abatement Coalition (CCOAC) is a collaborative group of healthcare providers, countywide agencies, law enforcement, community leaders, and advocates committed to reducing opioid-related overdoses and deaths through prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery initiatives.
OUR HISTORY
Formed in March 2023, CCOAC leverages South Carolina Opioid Recovery Funds to deploy strategies that directly address opioid-related issues in Chesterfield County.
OUR MISSION
The mission of CCOAC is to serve the residents of Chesterfield County by raising public awareness, promoting community action, and providing education related to the dangers and effects of substance use and abuse.
OUR VISION
We envision a community with better health outcomes and reduced opioid-related overdoses through collaborative partnerships focusing on prevention, treatment, and recovery.
